weave is a rhythmic comb filter sequencer. the delay time steps through a pattern, creating hard jumps in the filter’s resonant frequency. metallic, vocal, alien textures.
behavior
the sequencer drives the comb filter’s delay time through a stepped pattern. each step changes the delay time, which changes the filter’s resonant frequency. hard jumps by default, glide adds smooth transitions.
- toggle a (steps): 2 steps = minimal pattern, 4 steps = standard, 8 steps = complex
- toggle b (mode): manual = preset patterns (ascending, descending, octave, ping-pong), arp = algorithmic ascending pattern, random = sample-and-hold with new values each cycle
- toggle c (character): clean = linear feedback with pure comb tone, resonant = soft-limited feedback emphasizing metallic ring, destroyed = tanh saturation in feedback path with gritty harmonics
- glide: 0 = instant snap between steps, 1 = slow portamento
- spread: 0 = all steps at same frequency, 1 = wide jumps across the range
- frequency: center of the sequencer’s operating range
- feedback: resonance amount (higher = more metallic ring)
